Beautiful medical center with caring medical staff and professionalism.
They could use some improvements but that's true for many and in medicine it's true all the time because they are learning new things all the time.
a D.O. doctor of osteopathy trying to fool the native people that he is a neurosurgeon. For crying out loud, my main doctor is a D.O. There's no way he's operating on my back. I know she wouldn't even think of it. But Dr. Urbanas did not complete his 12 or 24 month neurosurgery residency in Seattle. He only completed 10 months. What does this tell you?
The place was very great, very helpful and courteous.

The staff are amazing. They have been there during our little girls harshest times, and they kept my darling alive. They're our heroes!!! Words can't even express how I feel for their work. Thank you ANMC
The fast track department is filthy and unprofessional, I had a sinus infection the felt like knives in my face and was sick from being in such bad pain and they stuck me in a room that smelled luke a rancid rotting carcass which made me vomit them when they belittled my situation and threatened to call security I finally saw a REAL dr in the ER and was listened to and treated immediately and got vital meds and left feeling 90% better, fast track is a disgusting joke
What an absolutely wonderful place. We were flown in from Fairbanks so that my wife could get knee surgery. Every aspect of our trip here has been top notch. The entire staff has been so wonderful to both of us. We had no idea what to expect, but we were taken care of extremely well by everyone. As a medical professional myself I was very impressed with the staff and how well my wife and I were treated. Thank you all so much for your caring generosity and hospitality. Please keep up the great work.
Being from Southeast Alaska - having all the specialty clinics and quality Dr.s and Nurses are a real blessing ! I feel privileged to receive my health care here at ANMC.
