The staff is rude, incompetent, & only ther 4 pay
I now truly hate anmc. Going on 10 months of pure bs treatment. One surgery so far, it's worse now then it was before. Now pain management care at all. And now I can't get them to cover me else where to where I can be seen and treated by a competent surgeon whose answer on how to treat me next isn't "I don't know" or having to wait a month plus in between appointments. Thanks for completely ruining my summer and affecting my career in a negative way. Frick

The AMNC ER does not know what they are doing. I am 18 weeks pregnant. Came in with a migraine, couldn't stop throwing up, lower back hurt like crazy, and an over all stomach ache. I had been waiting about 3 hours. I fully understand that there are others with situations a bit more sever than mine and require faster attention but people who came in, laughing, talking on their phones, looked totally fine got seen within 30 minuets and were checked out. I really wonder what the mortality rate of this facility is. We've been here for over an hour. My sister is short of breath, can't breathe well after any movement. Talking, she's gasping for air. I guess if she was drunk and screaming at people someone would actually do something.
Ignored my daughter in law for three hours without checking on her labor progress and ignoring her requests for pain meds... low and behold she was fully dilated and pushing. Of course by then it was too late for any pain relief for her. Horrible labor & delivery bordering on malpractice... Placenta partially retained, had to go into the OR to get it completely removed. Would have been nice if they would have bothered to sew up her torn "bottom" while they were in there... But no... Five days later here we sit in the emergen... read more

We have three beautiful children who are eligible and use the native medical system. I am thrilled with the courtesy compassion and commitment we have experienced at ANMC. Two have had significant health issues and have extensively used the services of the facility. THANK YOU
