Everyone is always nice. I hardly ever sit and wait.
ANMC Has been so professional and friendly staff from Nurses to Doctors and Surgeon's and even cooks, security and front desk clerks and house keeping. I have been in alot of pain from surgery, and every one was so concerned and worried that I was not in pain long, The ER took me right in since my Dr was not available to see me. I am blessed to have such caring people when I am healing from surgery. I couldn't ask for better.
My dad loves to hang out there I need a ride everyday for him. He is 86 yrs old and we cab it there almost all the time. It is a short ride too but $27.00 a day gets too much for cab.
The Alaska Native Medical Center is like a sanctuary for alaskan natives. It's like a door for us to go in and we get a warm welcome when we are in need of medical attention. Thank you anmc for all you do for us.
My sister was taken to ANMC because of a rapid heart rate and shortness of breath. They treated her with respect and kindness. They ran all kinds of test. The staff were super stars. Thank you for giving her so wonderful experience in a time of need.

We just left ANMC an our experience was a good one. The one part I don't care for an seem to repeat itself is after a procedure, the staff seem to want you out as fast as possible. This last time I was dressed by my escort an wheelchaired back to my room while I was still out of it. I did not appreciate being told to leave before I was ready.
