Avoid – Misrepresented Property and No Support from Stay in Suffolk We booked a 3-night stay in Suffolk through Stay in Suffolk expecting a peaceful, well-kept property, but our experience was the complete opposite. It was so bad we cut our holiday short and left a day early. The main issue was the excessive noise and disruption from a group of six teenagers in the adjacent Corner Cottage. we stayed in the thyme shepherds hut for 2 nights. unfortunately upon arrival we found that the toilet leaked from the waste pipe and had spewed sewage into the bathroom. this was raised with stay in Suffolk who said they would find someone to sort it out ,they didn't instead we had to use the fuel station which is miles away and with a heavily pregnant wife and this being a last holiday before our baby arrived it was hell. awoke to an email the next morning saying we could use one of their other accommodations bathroom but ... read more
Buoys Cottage in Orford was an idyllic stay: beautifully appointed, comfy beds, and a well-equipped kitchen and games room. Steps from Orford’s charming pubs, Pump Street Chocolate, and local bakery, yet quiet and relaxing. Communication was excellent. Ideal Suffolk coastal retreat, we’ll definitely return! Highly recommended.
This was my second stay at Lilypad in Friston, this time in the sunshine. I cannot rate it highly enough, the hut is pristine. Loved having morning coffee in the summerhouse overlooking the pond. Thank you Pete for helping me with my car - you are 5* hosts!
If I could prevent one person from booking with Stay in Suffolk, my life will be fulfilled. They are everything you dread when booking accommodation. Unresponsive, misleading and having absolutely no willingness to stand by their product. We had to check out after one night as the accommodation was not as described. They refused to acknowledge the issue and would not refund any of the other nights that had been paid for. Simply a greedy misleading company, use them at your own peril. P.S place was not clean either
