My wife had the following experience dealing with Sentry. In her words: "After seven business day and twelve phone calls to K, who is assigned as the Schooner Representative to our village, I never received a callback from her. IS THIS THE BEST THAT THE COMPANY HAS TO OFFER? It wasted many hours of my time! On my final call, L, returned a reply and answered my questions. She was very pleasant and apologetic for K's apparent negligence. Our coupon books for 2022 came in mid February. Others in our village had not yet received... read more

Unprofessional behavior, emails and targeting of certain neighbors. The woman who manages our subdivision goes out of her way to target homeowners who challenge violations. She does not follow protocol, sends first and second notices of violation at the same time. She creates petty violations that aren't in the covenants and threatens legal action. They are not the victims here; I am! My HOA (************* HOA/Sentry Management) and their enforcement arm/collection agency (Chadwick W*********) aren't behaving right and not acting in good faith! They are essentially blackmailing/extorting me to get a profit they do not deserve and shouldn't get! And they are using my monthly HOA dues to pay for unfair unauthorized unethical misappropriated collection costs, assessments and attorney fees for COVID delays that weren't my fault, and that none of my other creditors charged ... read more

I do not recommend this company as a property manager. They are incompetent. My HOA has just terminated a nearly 20 years relationship with Sentry Management. During my 2.5 years residence in a property they manage, they have repeatedly failed to address simple projects. As a result the unpaid members of the HOA Board have been forced to take time out of their workday to fix the problems that we are paying Sentry Management for. If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. They have mismanaged my building for 5 years. They place fines on owner accounts without any explanation and refuse to grant hearings with the BODs.

Re: Homeowner Management (Sentry Management, Indianapolis, IN,, office): Non-transparent to homeowners. Questions posed to Sentry may be unanswered, met with a delayed response, or response with an attitude. Sentry's version of events may differ from actual, or the Board's recounting, of events. Third-party communications can often be problematic. Sentry's "community website" is grossly inadequate, in my opinion. Community communications are lacking (also thanks to the elected Board). The worse company for a HOA! They elect homeowners to be on the board that are bullies, and they get away with not Complying to the guidelines! The board members listen to their friends that may not like you and file false complaints. Over grown grass, fencing falling down, gardens in front of houses in landscaping, RVs left in driveways weeks at a time, trash cans left out weeks at a time in the street. My experience with Sentry Management, as a home owner in Bonaventure Condo Association has been incredibly disappointing. During the process of refinance which took an extended amount of time, due to the incomplete "Custom" Condo Questionnaire. First off Sentry Management would not allow the viewing of "their" questionnaire, so you where forced to request a "Custom" Questionnaire which was a cost of $365.00 plus $12.00 processing fee, vs $190.00. This mis"management", so called, company should be put out of business! They're horrible! My review has multi levels so here we go:: First off, sentry was hired by my HOA a few years ago, then FIRED for mishandling of community affairs then REHIRED by the new BOD!! Huh??! Obviously if they were fired in the past why would they be beneficial For the future?
