For a company that prides themselves on customer service, their lack of response and concern for homeowners is unacceptable. I have called and emailed association contacts and regional leadership repeatedly over two months attempting to address concerns with charges. Emails and calls are not returned. Phones have never been answered. Do not use Sentry Management to manage your homeowners association.
Sentry will lie and cheat and give misinformation AND take your money. We cancelled their contract with our condo association, and were told by our Sentry Manager that our monthly maintenance dues would not be taken out and had been cancelled. Not true! Even though they were not longer our management company, they took out their May 2022 payment. Charleston office faila to accept customer calls. They use an automated service which simpy takes messages and phone numbers but no one ever returns the call.
This is the worst ever property management company I have ever worked with. I am struggling to just get application for buyer approval for more than 40 days. No response to emails. They call from private numbers to hide their numbers. I am selling the property and closing has been postponed by 3 weeks due to HOA delays in proving buyer approval form for Greenbrook villas in Apopka. Anyone have same issues with this company? Based on the reviews here it seems like they don't care about their customers.
Use caution when doing any work for Sentry Management. They hired our company to perform snow removal services at some of their properties. We have signed contracts from them. They refuse to pay invoices for services, do not respond to e-mails or phone calls from us and completely ignore our attempts to collect payment for services rendered. Not able to talk with the community manager or customer service. Called and emailed several times for over a week. All I can do is call the main number and the only thing they do is give me the community managers phone no, and his email address and customer service email. NO ONE has contacted me.
After 16 some years with Sentry Management and was on the board for about 1 1/2 years at the beginning and going to every meeting for the past 3 years, I can confirm that Sentry Management motto is "Do as little as Possible" The community association manager, Denise out of Longwood, FL office is a prime example of that. Her idea of monitoring around the community is for driveways and sidewalks that need pressure washed, that is it! She even gloats about that at the HOA meetings. Sentry changed their billing address and I had to reach the new address by losing my autopay from *************. I am not tech savvy so obviously I couldn`t follow on the internet although I tried. They then harrassed me after I had already sent then checks for Jan and Feb and also a interest penalty Now they want $38'00 more for supposed late payment in Feb. My family moved into a neighborhood in October 2019 where Sentry Management was hired by the HOA. After living here for over 2 years, we noticed that violations were being sent out to specific neighbors for specific rules. They pick and choose what rules they want to enforce. We happen to be be renters and have felt the discrimination from Sentry.
