About this business
AVMI is a state of the art diagnostic imaging center providing multi-slice CT, high field (1.5 Tesla) MRI as well as both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine. In 1986 AVMI became the first private practice veterinary facility to provide radioactive iodine therapy for the treatment of feline hyperthyroidism. Even today AVMI remains one of a very few facilities that offer radioiodine therapy for canine thyroid carcinoma.

We loved this place. Dr. Broome and his staff are amazing. My baby Diesel has been home 2 days and eating so good. He seems happier and so much like his old self. We loved the Webcam, so good to see him relaxing. Thanks to all of you. You are fantastic. ❤
Very happy with my visit to AVMI, even though my dog's MRI showed my worst fear...The receptionist was very kind to us (I was an emotional mess and my dog peed on the lobby floor three times). Dr. Broome explained everything to my satisfaction and I felt very comfortable having them do the imaging for us. Their pricing was much lower than what I was quoted at VCA and well worth the drive from Redondo Beach to Tustin.
We took our precious girl Eddie 500 miles to Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging because they are the best!
I wanted to thank everyone for taking such great care of my baby girl Pia. She has never been away from home so this was especially tough for us. She is doing great and I'm looking forward to getting positive results with her next blood test. You are all wonderful. Update post Pia went today 5/21/16 to get her full blood panel done after being home for a month and her thyroid is now normal. This was the best decision we could have made. Thank you again.
