About this business
AVMI is a state of the art diagnostic imaging center providing multi-slice CT, high field (1.5 Tesla) MRI as well as both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine. In 1986 AVMI became the first private practice veterinary facility to provide radioactive iodine therapy for the treatment of feline hyperthyroidism. Even today AVMI remains one of a very few facilities that offer radioiodine therapy for canine thyroid carcinoma.

Dr. Brooke and staff are fantastic! Newdie was admitted today and he looks very comfortable and content! Can't wait to see him on kitty-cam!
I am very pleased with the care and compassion shown by Dr. Broome and the staff. Daily update calls were very helpful and comforting. I also liked the Facebook update on my cats progress. It has been 3 months since his treatment and he has been doing great. Thanks again.
Just got the results from Bunni's post I 131 check up. 3 months after the treatment and her level is 1.5, down from 13.9 when treated on Dec 29, 2014, and all her other blood work for kidneys, liver, are great as well. She has gained weight, and looks great. Thank you Dr. Broome and staff for the great care you gave Bunni.
We just checked our cat ,Dupree in today. It has been a very good experience so far. We know that Dupree is going to do great!
Our girl cat Morgan spent a week here & received the best care.The video feed was fantastic. It was so great to see Morgan moving about. The continuous updates of her care were great. We received numerous phone calls & photos. We were so happy with the awesome care Morgan received. True cat (& dog) lovers!!! We brought Morgan home today & she is doing great. We are so happy to have her home. Thank you to all the folks at AVMI.
