Went to price an f150, the salesman I spoke to all but refused to show me z-plan prices(discount to retired employees and their families). Only stated that their internet prices would be lower. After using a "rule of thumb" tactic to guess how much I could afford based off what I told him I wanted my payments to be he told me that I would have to buy a used truck. Birmingham folks, the next time you're looking to buy a car, I suggest you avoid Adamson Ford in downtown. We've had two bad experiences with them. I bought my car from Long-Lewis Ford in Hoover, but we went to Adamson first because it's much closer to where we live. The salesperson, Glen, did not seem very knowledgeable about the car and was not enthusiastic about selling it. We were not able to agree on a price, and that is to be expected when car shopping. NO service after the sale don't buy here.The service manager Richard does nothing that he says he will do.Worst mistake of my life buying a new vehicle here.
I won't be back. I walked through the dealership trying to buy a truck and no one acknowledged me. Then, after speaking to a salesperson and agreeing on an out the door price for a new f150 XLT, I show up and the price goes up and the truck is really an STX. Don't support dishonest business practices. Take your money elsewhere.
My car has been at the service department going on two days (since 7am yesterday), and no one can seem to give me an answer as to what is wrong with it. Yesterday I left two messages for my service consultant to call me just so I would know if I needed to arrange transportation once I got off work. Did not get the good customer service. For months tried to get s refund/double payment.. will npt ever go there or recomend them.., can't give1/2 star
