About this business
We started out in a food concessions trailer at The Salem Saturday Market in 1998. Soon, our popular house-smoked meats outgrew that space, and we opened up Adam's Rib Smokehouse in 2003. Since opening those doors, locals haven't been able to get enough of our low-and-slow-smoked beef and pork ribs and homemade sides. I had been looking forward to going to Adam's for quite sometime. We ordered chili, cornbread, bacon cheese burger, and tri tip beef sandwich. For over $30 + a tip for which I don't know what for since the only service we got is ordering at the register and our name called. We had to ask for a knife and margarine after we picked our meal up at the counter. No-one told us about the silverware so we went on a tiny hunt for it. Been there twice, wasn't impressed. And the staff isnt very friendly.
Today was my first day eating here, and the food is amazing!! I will definitely be back and tell my friends about it.
Finally had the opportunity to try the much-hyped Adam's Rib last night. What a disappointment - my wife's food was under-cooked (chicken pink and bloody by the bone and ribs not much better), my reuben sandwich was burnt. For our side dishes we had pea salad and cheesy garlic potato mashers. The pea salad appeared to be peas in milk with a total of 6 shreds of cheese and the potato mashers appeared to be pieces of potato mixed into instant potatoes with garlic flavoring and some cheese.
