Brand new split system had a fault less than 12 hrs after installation. Had part replaced. Less than 12 months after that it would not turn on. Remote was replaced. Only 2 months ago, would not turn on again. All electrics in internal unit replaced. This week, it would not turn on again. Now they have removed and disgarded some of the internals. Not even 2 years old and have had so many dramas. Actrons response is, you still have 3 years warranty.... in other words we will keep patching up our product until the warranty runs... read more
Brand New ActronAir installed on our new home. Ducted and 2 zone. Comes with proprietary thermostat that cannot be configured to use Smart home automation thermostats, such as 'the nest' , etc. Now stuck with a new air-conditioner that is behind the times of technology integration. Will not consider this brand in the future unless they integrate with new technology and give up their proprietary system.
ABSOLUTE DISGRACE !!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASE AN ACTRON ESP SYSTEM . There is nothing good to say about the system I have had installed only 18months ago . endless heating issues and unable to hold a set temp in summer or Winter, Now roughly 10 service call outs a few main boards and multiple try that and see how it goes comments........its STILL NOT RIGHT. There is a major issue with the system and ACTRON clearly is avoiding the fact and its not just my unit that is at fault just look at the other reviews on this... read more
I've installed two Actron AC's in two different homes since 1990 and both have been 100% reliable. My parents replaced their late 70's GE ducted system with an Actron about 5 years ago and their electricity bills dropped. Buy Australian!
