An autumn afternoon tour with Alison and Francis at Acton Scott Hall is to be entertained to a history of the home their family has lived in for 900 years - topped off with tea & cakes and a woodland walk. The house has changed with the generations but it hasn’t been overly modernised or preserved, remaining true to its Elizabethan purpose and style. What an incredible experience staying in such a wonderful historic house set in the idyllic Shropshire countryside. Alison and Francis were warm and generous hosts making us feel very welcome. Delicious breakfasts with local fresh eggs! Very highly recommended.
