Working for ACR has been such a wonderful experience! I needed direct care hours and thought I would only be there for about a year. Now I am coming up on two and a half years and I am a supervisor. I love the people I work with and this job has truly been an experience I could not have gotten anywhere else.
ACR Homes is a great place to work when wanting to work in the healthcare field. You gain experiences that prepare you for the real world and make you confident in what you're doing. I have made such good friendships with my coworkers, residents, and their families. ACR truly cares about the environment their residents are in and want the best for them.
I have been working at ACR Homes for almost two years now. I can honestly say that the amount of experience I have already gained will definitely put me ahead when considering future occupations/grad school. There are so many great programs that staff can be a part of, such as recruiting, mentoring, and internships. My residents have taught me so much over the years and I can't imagine ever leaving them!
I love working at ACR! I have learned so much about myself and the residents and have grown so much as a person! It is a great place to work!
Working for ACR has provided me with a direct care experience I would not get anywhere else. It has taught me more compassion, patience, communication and problem solving skills than I could have even thought possible. I enjoy working for ACR, and I know that my future in the medical world will be based off a great foundation of medical and direct care knowledge from ACR.
Working for ACR Homes has been such a positive and transformative experience for me. I'm so grateful to get the opportunity to start my career in nursing with such a wonderful company who genuinely cares about it's residents and employees. ACR has helped me to build on my interpersonal communication and social skills, leadership skills, problem solving and time management skills, patience, and direct care skills. ACR provided a solid foundation for my entrance into nursing school as well as valuble personal experiences.
Working at ACR Homes I know I'm valued as a employee and that we are providing the best care to our residents. I love how my hours fit seamlessly with my family and I still consider myself a full time stay-at-home mom! Great TEAMWORK culture and always plenty of hours if you're looking for them and flexible.
I would recommend ACR to any college student who doesn't want to have "just a job." You will learn about how to run a household, handle medical equipment, administer medications safely, and how to interact professionally with coworkers and supervisors. Working here feels like "going home" to hang out with my residents and make them smile.
ACR is such a great company to work for. I have learned so much in my short amount of time being here. We as staff, are here to support our residents and watch them succeed. It's so rewarding to see them smile and do something they love. If you want to make a difference in someone's life, ACR is the perfect job!
