I've stayed at the Acorn many times over the last 4 years and have no complaints.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and nice. It was near sites we wanted to visit. The room was small but had all that we needed.
Very pleasant rooms in a great location. But it's the staff that sets the Acorn a cut above -- wonderfully friendly and helpful! Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Excellent stay at the end of a tiring journey. The lovely Kevin was able to recommend a near by dining establishment (Akbars) and answer all my questions about Glasgow. Not a long distance from Queens Street rail station but slightly uphill if you're hauling luggage. I would definitely stay again.
