A great find for lunch after a morning on the Rosehall Trails and watching the salmon leap. Super cosy and friendly spot — the menu was simple but really well done. The crab salad was outstanding! Staff and locals were so welcoming — a real hidden treat.
Staying near by . Could see the lights were on . And we were told they had a bar . Turned away and told residents only . Didn’t look very busy . Probably be shut soon !
Myself and my partner went here for Valentines night and were made to feel very welcome. We stayed for dinner and breakfast and the food was great. There was no drink on tap but they had a good selection of canned/bottled beers and ciders. Roaring fire in the bar was amazing and we sat right next to it as it crackled away. The room was nice with a huge bed although the television didn't work but as I said it was Valentines night so that wasn't much of an issue :-) This would have been a five star but the exterior of the hote... read more
Location beautiful. Just stopped off for coffees after walking the casserly waterfall route, so didn't see hotel rooms, just the bar area. Service welcoming, friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend!
Patrick was such a welcoming host who helped me tremendously. Beautiful location in this rural part of Scotland. A must visit for any GB Divider who are looking for a place to stay. Food was fantastic and priced very reasonable. Cant wait to come back
