I have chartered Academy and had excellent service (Warminster, PA to NYC and pick up a week later - Carnival cruise lines). Have also been on Academy with other groups and always had good experiences. Office personnel are also very helpful.
In the middle of rush hour, in Coconut Grove, two of their buses blocking 50% of an entire main avenue.
Worse service ever!! My daughters track team rented this bus for nationals. For a 12 hour trip we switched drivers 3 times. The first and the third driver was fine. The second driver was TERRIBLE. He was driving a bus full of kids and didn't want anyone to use the bathroom!! Anytime a child would move he would be screaming and yelling to the back of the bus. Great job of handling the crowds at the Presidents Cup Sunday evening. Plenty of buses and very well organized.
Horrible! Union Hill bus that should take about an hour from the City to Union Hill keeps us in traffic and makes the entire trip a TWO HOUR plus process all because they don't want their drivers to pay two tolls. But the fact that they pay their drivers hourly, spend more money on gas and maintenance of the bus is a wiser thing to do? Why would you make your commuters, who pay so much money for your service, sit in a smelly bus (literally smells like the bathroom right now), and spend 40 minutes entering the Holland Tunnel ... read more
