Lovely idea to have guests register and pay for parking — shame there’s actually nowhere to park. You’d think a hotel would stop accepting parking registrations once the car park is full, but apparently not. When I mentioned it, the staff kindly suggested I “just park on the street.” Very helpful — except the street was also completely full, and I’m not exactly sure how safe it is to leave a car there overnight. We opted to stay at the AC Hotel Inverness after a week of staying at wonderful, but smaller boutique hotels throughout Scotland. I was hesitant to stay at a larger American owned hotel, as I thought it might take away from my Scottish holiday experience, but we ended up really enjoying our stay.
