I am only posting this because I was sent a survey and after giving 2 stars was asked to share my review here. Yesterday’s delivery team did a great job and get 5 stars. I am rating the full Abt experience on this though (that has always been a 5 star experience for us in the past). The first washing machine we had installed had mold in the detergent drawer and was covered in dust including the door and the display screen. Hi Tom, My name is Dan Obradovic and I am one of the General Managers here at Abt. I have located your order and ran the serial number on the unit. I am not showing it had been an open box unit. Washers and dishwashers are tested by the manufacturer and sometimes have a bit of water left behind. I am assuming this unit may have gotten past the manufacturer and our quality control. I actually LOVE this store. The only down side at all, is how insanely crowded it has been lately. I do think they should consider crowd control in person however...if you shop online as I did, the experience was amazing. I bought a TV (yay!) and it was delivered by their own delivery service but a great guy, who showed up on the very early side of the window I was given, called ahead to say he'd be here in 5 minutes, had his mask on, showed up, flew this huge TV up the stairs to my apt, was cheerful, friendly and quick!
