Had a nice meal at the abercrave, food was very good and very value for money. The staff were very friendly and service our every needs. We stumbled across it, as its not on a main road. Personally I preferred it to the other pubs/ restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend it and eat thier again if I was holidaying in the area again. Well worth a visit.
No dogs allowed in beer garden! Only on patio at the front
Accommodation was basic but OK, had evening meal which was very nice. Although they advertise breakfast in with the price, they were not putting on breakfast due to new owners. I did suggest they could at least put a continental breakfast on that would not involve any cooking. The young lady in charge said they wouldn't be putting breakfast on until middle of April. Still paid the same price for just the room.
It is lovely accomodation. The door opens straight onto the street, handy in good weather, not so good in bad weather. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The location is beautiful. The food and service in the Abercrave Inn is superb. Reserve a table especially at weekends as the locals know it's good too.
