I adopted my first dog yesterday at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, and I cannot begin to tell you how awesome all of the staff members and volunteers were, especially Krista! They all showed an incredible amount of passion, knowledge, and professionalism. This place is wonderful to adopt from! Almost 12 years ago, my father adopted my baby girl Porscha (originally niña) from there and about a year a 3 months ago my husband and I adopted our handsome man Jameson (originally Pretty Boy). Recently i lost my baby girl due to old age :( Is there anyway that the humane society adopts to people out of state? I will come down with Jameson and do a pet interaction and do all the transporting! I would love to adopt from this humane shelter again!
I had been searching for the prefect dog for my dtr's 16th bday. Every time i would see one, by the time I would get there another family would be adopting them. We went together one day afterschool and went straighy to the doggy dorm. I was totally against puppies because its a lot of work taking care of them. I've adopted here before, yesterday I adopted Dotty and I'm so so happy. What a great establishment. They take great care of the animals in their facility and when they go home.
Nice volunteer worked very hard with cat adoptions yesterday. The only person in the area.
