Hands down adopting from here was an awesome experience, I've always wanted to adopt from the humane society and I finally got the opportunity. Staff was so friendly and from the moment I saw Bear I knew he was a perfect fit. I look forward to one day soon getting Bear a forever brother or sister. I thought I was going to have to put my cat down, but I took her into the humane society because I'd heard so many stories about their will to keep our pets alive. My little lady was so close to death, but the great staff really helped to reassure me that they would do everything they could. Two years later and my little lady's still going strong. Thank you, humane society. <3
I love so much that this org had a fix & release program for feral cats...they can't be adopted & socialized so otherwise they would be put down. There is no reason 4 that but we also don't need more & more strats that are feral & fear humans when these cats reproduce. I had 3-4 feral cats near me I was starting to make friends with, i fed & talked to..made sure there was clean water & even a big fluffy comforter & boxes for cold winter nights. I couldn't catch them to get them fixed though. I came home day to find then gone... read more
I adopted George 2 months ago. Process was handled well and George is a great dog also a healthy dog. The staff care deeply about the animals.thanks to everyone there who gave George a chance.
