We stopped at the HSTB on Tuesday, on our way home from lunch with friends. I just wanted to "look"... I've been to other shelters and could hardly stay to look at the dogs because I couldn't stand the odor. Our family adopted Sherlock this week. The first time I saw his furry little face in his intake photo. I knew he was "the one". He is now named Jax! He is full of so much personality and is filling our hearts with love more and more each day!

Adopted our sweet kitty Jasmine (Freda) yesterday and brought her home. She is slowly warming up to her new home and she is very well loved by my family!
My husband and I have a 5 year old catahoula mix and have been looking to adopt another dog for a while. We came across dory (we renamed her Sadie Rae) She's a 2 year old catahoula mix! The sweetest dog! Our pup gets along so well with her new sister. She is absolutely beautiful. The employees here are really nice and very helpful! Everything looks really clean and nice! I would recommend anyone who's looking to adopt a dog or cat to look at this facility!
