a must-see in Monterey bay I've been to many aquariums in the country, this one is one of the best. It has a large variety of different species and is designed in a way that is both entertaining for adults and educational for kids. The newly added jelly fish exhibit is totally out of the world.
Fun under the sea or better yet in it! The Monterey Bay Aqarium is a great experience for the family and friends. Myself personaly enjoyed it tremendously! I love the water and with the visual and touch they provide it an adventure. Its a great place to take time and look at, to understand what is in our oceans or even just to go.
Good display This was a trip the wife and I made, and it was well worth it. The food court is over priced and over crowded, so eat before or after you get there. The display of fish and sea life was incredible. For the amount of people that go through there, it was very clean.
Beautiful jelly fish in the aquarium This aquarium is considered the best in the Bay area. The price of the ticket is slightly over-priced. And the package ticket for family (unlimited visit for one year) is over-priced too but it is worth it, if you visit more than 2 times for the whole year. After paying for the family package, they will send monthly newsletter to the member. It doesn't get much better than this The Monterey Bay Aquarium is an incredible place for both children and adults. The displays they have are breathtaking - awesome has the kids say and the special activities they have for kids are wonderful. Although you get a great education when there, you think you are just having a great time.
Members for years It never fails, the kids always love the aquarium and with new things being added each year it's worth being a member. We only go a few times a year, but it's worth having the membership so we can go whenever you want.
Jellyfish The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a fun place to visit. It is a little over an hour drive from San Jose. The jellyfish exhibit is captivating. I recommend that your bring your own lunch and go eat it outside and while gazing at a beautiful view of the Monterey Bay.
One of the Best in the World Monterrey Bay Aquarium is one of the best aquariums in the world. This is a first rate facility. The displays are really fascinating for everyone. My two year old and my six year old especially like the touch pools. Every time I go, I find something new to see. They are constantly updating their displays. In fact, they are closing their very popular sharks display (Sept. 2006)to give us something new to see.
Truly a world class aquarium We love the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The exhibits are beautifully designed and the large tanks are impressive! Personally, I love the jelly fish exhibit and was fortunate enough to be there when the great white shark was in captivity. The best part is that they continually add to and evolve the exhibits, keeping it interesting!
