Don't miss it! If you're going to be in the Carmel, Monterey area, do yourself a favor and don't miss this attraction. The first thing you should do is the 17 mile drive. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a close second.
Whenever I'm in the Monterey area, I always try to head to the aquarium. A fabulous place to bring the family or even out of towners who are visiting. Lots of exotice fish to see, educational events to join in on, staff is friendly and wonderful. It is in a great location on cannery row near all the stores and restaurants.
This aquarium is awesome! They have all sorts of exhibits where you'll see marine life that you'll never see anywhere else. The jellyfish exhibit in particular is pretty cool. We also saw sea otters and sharks!
