Costly 15 minutes I called A1 to service my 1 year old multi unit heat pump. The technician arrived, stated that the unit can't be repaired unless the whole system was substituted, that he never saw concealed ducted mini-splits and left. The visit lasted 15 minutes. After 2 minutes he came back saying he was instructed to charge for the visit. I rely on A1 A1 never asked me to write a review, but I have been their customer for over 10 years. They installed a new furnace and an air conditioner unit and signed me up for a 10 year maintenance plan. They came promptly when two years ago, my furnace would not go above 21 degrees and the house felt cold. The technician spent a lot of time figuring it out but he did! AC repair I don’t recommend this company. My AC has noisy at startup, the technician diagnosed the capacitor was old, he suggested to replace the new one, it’s $288 plus taxes, diagnose fee was $130 plus tax. The AC machine is still noisy as before, that’s wrong diagnose, wasted me over $288.

Second opinion on cracked heat exchanger I called A1 for a second opinion on a cracked heat exchanger diagnosis by another company that I called for a service on my furnace. The technician found that my furnace had been incorrectly set up previously as 1 stage when the furnace is in fact a 2 stage furnace and also found that the wiring setup for my Nest was not correct either and that there was no other issue with the furnace. Duct cleaning We have been clients of A1 for heating and air conditioning for years but I just discovered they do duct cleaning too. A very pleasant man came and did the work with great efficiency and leaving no mess at all. He showed me that the previous times it had not been done as completely as they would do it. I now feel that for the first time in decades there is more chance for clean air within the house.
