This is the first time I've used A1 to service my furnace. The technician was very professional, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable and thorough in the work he did. I am very pleased with this gentleman and the company. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
I have been dealing with A1 heating for 20 years, Tom has been servicing my furnace and last week we had to replace it and the air conditioner. Jeff came out the next day and Mike and Hadden installed the new furnace and air conditioner yesterday. I tell you how pleased we are with the job that they have done! Our furnace wasn;t coming on. Theo from A1 came in, got us the best rate for the repairs and very efficient. Very friendly and helpful
Beware of this company. Charge a flat rate for any repair. Their labour charge $149.00 per hour. Paid $1200.00 to install a circuit board that retails for $300.00 .
A1 has been annually servicing my furnace and A/C for as long as I can remember. When my 17-year-old furnace stopped working, the A1 technician arrived within 2 hours of my call at 1930 hours. Diagnosed the problem and recommended replacement of the furnace. An hour later a salesman came to give me a quote and schedule the installation for the following morning. We called for emergency service Saturday morning of the Family Day long weekend. A technician made a visit and determined we need a new gas valve, but he did have one in his van. Therefore we would need to wait until Tuesday when the company opened for business before another technician would be sent out to resolve the issue. He explained how Heat Pumps work and the key calculations necessary based on my house - notably duct capacity and right sizing the solutions for both the indoor and outdoor units.
