A wonderfully, relaxing base from which to explore all the delights that beautiful Yorkshire has to offer. Guy and all the family always make us feel very welcome, the cottages was spotless as always and so well furnished my Mum was super impressed! We'll definitely be booking back in for the spring. Stayed in Well cottage end Oct/ November. Very warm,spotlessly clean.Rural views,sheep,owls and an illuminated well. Bus stop into York just at the end of the farm drive. Perfect balance between countryside and town. Guy and Tracey perfect hosts.
I booked primarily for the close distance to York as I was visiting my York uni student daughter. I stayed in the Cow Kennel. These cottages are wonderful. The hosts have obviously put in a lot of thought about what makes a perfect holiday break and they have gone above and beyond to make guests comfortable and welcome. From the immaculate accommodation, spacious rooms and facilities, to the welcome treats and stunning views from the window, it really was a perfect stay. 100% recommendation.
An incredibly gorgeous cottage, very well situated and easy to find. We felt very warm and cosy here and would highly recommend a stay! Thank you Guy and Tracey!
We had a wonderful autumn stay in the Tractor Shed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the unit was spotless. We did not have a car but York was literally a 10 minute ride away. Coming back to the peaceful quiet farm in the evening was such a treat. Definitely 10/10
