A1 carpets have been excellent today. One bit of advice I would like to pass on - please let them measure what you need, my measurements were out slightly, I learned, so they had a slightly tougher job than it ought to have been. He took the time to explain how I should have measured for landing spaces, so always check. Although, this challenge did showcase his experience and workmanship, left a very professional finish. I am very pleased!! Thankyou!
Have had carpets from here before recently moved to a new house phoned the lovely Jade who came round and measured everywhere ( the whole house)that I needed carpet and flooring for. I went into the shop about a week later and chose carpet and flooring from their extensive range.Jade was clear on suitability and price and arranged fitting on convenient days. We recently had a stairs and hallway carpeted and TLC flooring layed in our dining room. This is the 2nd time we have used A1 and I would not hesitate in recommending them. Extremely helpful, reasonable price, hardworking, expertly installed.
First time using A1 Carpets, hit the jackpot first time! Wanted to use a local small trader rather than a big corporate and it was the best decision ever. Jade could not have been more knowledgeable, helpful, professional and genuinely friendly. My experience has not been good, and I would not use this company again. The lower reviews on here echo our experience. My partner bought the carpet in the Woolston store. We were told the carpet fitter would arrive at 2pm, and my partner said great she’d be home at 1pm. The fitter arrived a couple of hours too early. My partner got home at 1pm (an hour before the appointment) and the fitter wasn’t happy.
