Lincoln is the best! – Lincoln is definitely the best colorist out there. He makes sure the color is perfect and never misses! Tadimdia gives a great hair cut...she can totally read minds! OH and the front desk is not all "salon-like" and rude. Chill place, great hair care.
You have to try the colorist Nickol – Nickol is truly a great colorist. Read a couple rave reviews on Nickol Johnson being a great colorist. I'm glad I took the chance with going to someone new because I have never had so many complements on my color. It's hard to find someone you can really recommend and want everyone to know you can't go wrong with nickol.
ROBIN at 77 – I've never been moved to write a review on anything before but Robin at 77 is too good to keep under wraps. I have long hair which is surprisingly hard to cut for most stylist but not Robin. She listened and understood exactly what I wanted done with my not so straight and not so curly long hair that I want to keep long. After two years in Portland, I've finally found my stylist.
Nickol is the most talented colorist – Nickol did the most amazing color on me at salon 77. I've had my hair colored in NY, LA, Europe etc. but have to say no one has ever done as great of job as Nickol. She's from Fred Segal in LA and just had to spend the time to recommend her for how truly amazing my hair looks and how many compliments I receive everyday. Off the chart cuts – I was fabulously impressed! I've been looking for a new hairstylist and I think I've found him. Lincoln did wonders with my hair; hair that has only been previously described as "difficult". I have tons and tons of thick, straight hair, with an awful curl on the underneath side in one part! I've never been happier leaving a salon than I was today. I didn't even regret the chunk of change I had to plunk down for this one. Love it.
Best Haircut Ever! – So I generally have the worst luck in hairstylists, and I wasn't 100% at ease when I called to make an appointment at 77 and got a random hairstylists (I just moved to Portland). Dena, the stylists I got, was just finishing up with another client, so I waited about 5-10 minutes, which is typical of any place. Patti at 77 - I'm Glad I Was Late – Men, dudes, hombres. Make an appointment with Patti. I was late for my first appointment with another person at 77, and I'm glad. Patti stepped up and shortly I had the best haircut of my life. I know where to get a great cut but, no B.S., I've never had so many women consistently compliment my haircut since Patti. Awesome funky salon – THis place is awesome. The staff is unique, funky, friendly, not to mention, talented. I've had my hair cut by a few people there, each time was great.
Tadimdia Bridges is my favorite new stylist and colorist – I normally don't write reviews, but, I am inspired....what can I say? Tadimdia really knows hair!! I went to her and showed her a picture of what I wanted done to my hair with color and cutting and she matched it perfectly!!! She is super sweet and comfortable to be around.
