Awesome atmosphere, great oysters, and some nice hot chicken.
Love the char grilled oysters, po-boy,sea food gumbo.
Shrimp and grits were great. Also was able to snag a bite of the mahi mahi Reuben - also delicious (came with house made potato chips). Nice beer selection and our oysters on the half shell were tasty! Good service.
When we are in Franklin we will eat at 55 South Loved it, just great !

We were headed to Gulf Shores from St Louis and 55 South was the main reason we decided to stop and stay in Franklin for the night.....the Chargrilled Oysters are so good, even if you think you dont like oysters, these will change your mind....
Great food & great Bloody Mary Bar!!
