Rooms are damp,with soft walls due to damp and clear signs of mould. The carpet floor are shabby and a far cry from the clean wooden floor in their advert. Service is bad as no one picks the phone. The building stairs are too steep,narrow and windy. Clear hazard. Location is good but it has no provision for parking.

Ideal for price, close to centre and room cleaned well if a little in need of renovation (old paintwork and a floor that squeaks if you look at it and moves underfoot) Building very cold, and sheets very thin, so expect an uncomfortably chilly night. Be warned that rooms 10-12 are up a 4th, very tight staircase so may not be accessible for all. Will be staying again, but will bring a heater 🥶

They urgently need to install heating in the rooms because it's difficult to be in a very cold place, especially for people who aren't used to low temperatures. They also need to provide towels in the rooms. This makes the stay more comfortable.
