Brought my 11yr old here from Cincinnati and had an amazing time. The zoo is wonderful and combine that with the beautiful weather for February, we had the most incredible day! We even were able to watch the polar bear training ... seacoo(spelling) was adorable!
Just a fun walk around on a nice day in February.

It's a super clean place, the animals seem like they are well taken care of. And for a free zoo, you can't complain at all. Lots of places where you can get close to the animals. Closer than you could at many other loca zoos!!
Took my daughter for her birthday yesterday even though it was cold she enjoyed every second of it we will definitely be going back in the spring or summer time our family's new favorite zoo
Sunday, January 22 was our first visit and we were so incredibly impressed with the Lincoln Park Zoo. What an outstanding resource for the people of Chicago and it's many annual visitors. The habitats were so accessible to visitors and the young woman in the gorilla house who works in outreach and education could not have been more informative and engaging for all ages in attendance during her talk. We will surely be back. Keep up the extraordinary work!
Lincoln Park Zoo is absolutely amazing! Everyone should spend 3-4 hours enjoying this great place.
Absolutely love this place! Free, amazing! The one concern I have is for the animals. The "big cats" enclosures seem too small, every animal we seen did not seem to have water to drink, and the one that really made me mad was when a Zebra began choking on his hay! He was hacking and screeching and he was able to get the hay down but there was no water for him. I witnessed him searching and looking for water, there was an empty "pond like" watering hole and he kept pacing back and forth near it. I was very concerned and I cou... read more
Awesome! Got up close and personal with tigers, lions, gorillas and a lot of other great animals! This is a FREE zoo!
