Had a great time but disappointed that we couldn't see elephants or giraffes due to construction. Perhaps posting this in advance would be beneficial.
A great zoo that runs on only donations,one of the best zoos!!!
I had a great time at LPZ. The Lion House has a little makeover and the entire Zoo seems to be getting a remodeling; there's a construction work here and there. Thank God it is still free. The Polar Bear was hiding so I was disappointed not to have seen him. However, The monkeys in the monkey house (Forgot the actual name of this building) and the Gorillas and the Chipanzees (Sp) in the Ape house are always interesting, and entertaining. Loved it! For a free zoo, it has a lot to offer. The gorilla house is awesome! Some animals weren't out but that is to be expected. Highly recommend!
Simply AMAZING!!! One of the most beautiful Zoos in the World! Still can't believe it's free.
There are many animals to see here. It's definitely worth going to if you're in the area. If you feel the urge then support the zoo by purchasing souvenirs or making a donation.
It was cold and windy but overall it was amazing day visiting the zoo �
