This is not the company anyone wasn't to do business with,been a customer for years never been late on making payments and yet they refuse to let me renew my loan

I currently have a account with first Franklin almost done paying off "Thank you *****" I recently pull my credit report and notice I had several late payments from first Franklin. Make a long story short I refinanced my account with them lowering my payment to 125 instead of them informing me that I carried a balance they allowed me to pay 125 monthly faithful without informing me the balance was there instead put 30 days late every month for over 20 times. I have reviewed our reporting on TransUnion and this loan is reporting correctly as of the Date Reported, which is 1/31/2021. Worst place to try and get a loan they lie about your credit score and the lady Monique that works there is very rude I literally had a updated equifax score and she tried to tell me my score was over 50 points lower than what it was

Today I went online to pay my balance in full. The system is set to force that one cent must be left in the account. I called the Savannah Hwy location and advised the rep that I was coming in to pay the penny and wanted the account closed. I was outside the store when she called and said, "we've taken care of it". I got a call less than 10 minutes from the rep saying she didn't want to scare me, but I owed $120. I gathered all payments from my bank, called them back and they asked me to return to the store. On 3/17/21, we spoke to the customer and explained that her principal balance is $0.01, but there is a Fee Balance (legal fees that are pushed to the back of the loan) on the account of $120.00; we invited her into our Charleston office so she could review - in person - the documentation we have on file. Legal was filed in January 2020; customer came into our office in March 2020, and we agreed to settle for $1,690.00. Rhonda ****** at the Lake Charles location was great. She, along with Chris ******* the area supervisor, helped me get a modification for my existing loan because I was furloughed due to COVID-19. As a result, my monthly payments are now more manageable. She was incredibly understanding, patient, and professional and was great at answering all of my questions. I ran into hard times just like everyone this year. Even was deathly sick with COVID-19! I understand all the phone calls I received from the company but coming to my home harassing me was uncalled for! Plus the man they sent to my home was not even an employee of theirs. How scary is that??

Customer has posted the same message on social media and sent an email to our corporate offices; she has been contacted by and has spoken to our Regional Operations Director. As we explained to Ms. ******, our policy prohibits our employees from visiting a customer's home to collect a debt. None of our employees has gone to her house and harassed her. I set my payment on line and they don't like that so they block the date line so I can't do that. I pay my bill but they like to make it difficult!!

We have reviewed the access history on customer's online account and it has never been restricted nor have payment dates been blocked. The system is programmed so that weekday payments must be made before 10:00 p.m. Eastern in order to be credited for the same day and weekend payments must be made before 6:00 p.m. Eastern in order to be credited for the same day. I have been trying to pay off this account online for the past 2 months but the company website will not allow complete payoff. Each time I pay it makes me pay just a few dollars less than the total owed (error message appears & will not take payment) then adds additional $ on to my bill the next month. My account now says I owe $20 again but will not allow payment at all right now. Our Online Services is set up so that you cannot pay off an account online; in many instances the payoff amount is not the same as the balance on the account, therefore, you must contact the loan office for the correct payoff amount. Our loan offices are open until 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, which would allow you to call once you are off work. You have the option make your final payment by phone with a representative in your loan office.
