I see why there ate so many complaints. I unfortunately did not see any of these until after the fact. I took out a small loan and will be paying that off very fast because the online paying never ever works. I set up the account, I made maybe 2 online payments and it had been a hassle since. I log in it tells me I have no existing accounts. You people ****. I pay every thing online. I work 2 jobs I don't have time to chase ppl down to give you $. The local branch in my community is sending out checks to people who have not been soliciting loans from anybody. My wife received one. Dont get lured into these loans from 1st Franklin Financial. They are worse than taking out one of those PAYDAY loans. They may or may not send out a statement ever month and you will miss payments. It seems to be by design in an attempt to inflate your loan by adding penalty fees, its a very poorly run company. I was enrolled in their debt settlement program I pulled out because nothing got done. I have 188 emails to them 100s of calls this has been going on for a year. I want my money back.

Their customer service *****, they do not communicate with one another because one person told me one thing and another had the worst attitude and told me something totally different. I will never go through them again 10/10 do not recommend, I got behind due to me having to be out of town my father was very Ill before he passed I let them know what was going on once I got back in town and settled I called to make a payment one lady said I could called back same day on my lunch and the other was rude as h*** and said I could... read more

0 stars! I've been to 3 different branches trying to sort my defaulted loan out and EVERY SINGLE PERSON has an attitude! This *************** literally huffing and puffing in my ear because he did not want to take my payment . I'm so mad. They are very unhelpful and unprofessional. Pull the phone calls and listen to the people representing your company. It's a shame. I ended the conversation apologizing tell the man that he was right, I was wrong, have a great day and apologizing! How unprofessional. Never again!

Don't trust first Franklin I had a loan with them. I got behind. cause of an injury I suffered at work that put me out of work for 8 months. I try calling to working things out and would never get a call back. They closed my account without saying anything and putting it on my credit as a bad debit and wrote it off. Now they have filed a wage garnishment and are garnishing my wages now. It's messed up. I paid three loans off with this local company on the current loan my payment was due on March 21st I put in a scheduled payment for the 29th and because it went to my checking account and didn't post on to their account account until the 3rd of April instead of charging late payment which they didn't have a right to do anyway because I had a scheduled payment they took $231 that should have been added to principal and added the whole $515 a month payment to to interest and gave me a **** principal payment this is the same k... read more
