Monica is amazing! – I have had bleached blond hair for most of my life and decided to go dark a few days ago. I went to Ziva and had one of the best experiences of my life. Sarah at Ziva rocks on with her socks on! – As a person who up until a year ago hadn't gotten a hair cut more frequently than every six months-or-so (emphasis on the 'or so' part) having found ziva and particularly sarah is totally rad. The service is great, they always offer you tea or water as soon as you check in for your appointment, the atmosphere is hip without being too pretentious and annoying and the music generally very good. Professional staff with a great owner who really cares!! – I have been going to Ziva for about 10 years! They are always professional and friendly and I have NEVER walked out of there unhappy. They have the best stylist and they are on the cutting edge. The owner is very hands on and is concerned about his customers! There is a reason that Ziva has been around so long, its fantastic and you will never walk away disappointed!
Amanda Arp rocks the locks! – Amanda is the bomb! Short hair, long hair, curly or just plan crazy, Amanda can make the most out of what you got - you'll look LOVELY. Plus she is cutie-booty, and very sweet. - a pleasure to spend an hour (or two) chatting with. Get her while you can, Amanda's pregnant and due at the end of March.
I love my hair! – I have been to ziva a few times and I must say that everytime I go there I am always happy with everything, the service is fantastic and my hair always looks great. Lindsay is my stylist and I just love her she is so sweet and always listens to me on what I want and also tells me what I need! Even the people she has help assist her are always very sweet. I will not go – I was just searching on CitySearch to find a new salon to go to, but I will definitely not be going here after reading all the negative reviews! Although I realize this is not a true review, I just wanted to make a comment on the president's "response" to these customers' valid complaints-"I apologize?!" No recompense? No offer of a refund?! I just thought that was a very lame response on his part, and because of that I will be avoiding this salon at all costs.
Do not pass the blame – Funny thing is reading all these reviews just makes me remember why I stopped going to the Salon.......I tried to give it another chance because I can no longer find the product other than at Ziva. Some things never change, the staff is rude and follows you around while you look, and the owner/president is a complete idiot who should not own a business. Stop passing the blame on your ex stylists and be responsible for your poor business skills. Has it ever dawned on you to teach your staff some skills... read more
Great Product Display – The layout of Ziva and the extensive product selection has far exceeded the quality of stylists - not a knock on any of the stylists, rather, the Bumble & Bumble displays replicate something from a tradeshow. A long time consumer of beauty products, it's perfect to find a salon that offers such a wide range products that are professionally showcased as well as a knowledgeble & outgoing staff. The employees were exceptionally friendly. Can's wait to go back!
