Ziva Salon rocks my world – Paulino at Ziva Salon is a sweet hairstylist. He is hip and knows how to give a stylish new do for people of all shapes and sizes!
Ziva is great! – I have long hair which has been cut by myself or my family for years. I hated it. I tried another salon in town...they were a bit cheaper, but they didn't seem to know much more than I did. I was disillusioned, but thought I'd try one more time. Hallelujah! I love Ziva, and Paulino is absolutely the best hairdresser I've ever met. He really knows his stuff, inside and out, and he's just pleasant and friendly too. It's so comfortable and my hair looks great for weeks. It's not cheap, but it's so worth it!
The Best in Portland! – When I moved from San Francisco to Portland, I wondered how I would ever replace my hairstylist. Ziva Salon Highly Recommended – Ziva Salon is great! The stylist I have always seen there is Paulino Borja. He is a very talented Colorist/Designer. I've had my hair cut and colored by him numerous times, I recommend him to everyone I know and I even have my husband going there for his cuts and color. Paulino is on the cutting edge of fashion and is very particular about everything he does to your hair. He takes into account the look you are going for and adds his own expertise. Try him out, you'll be totally satisfied.
The Best Experience! – What a great experience I had at Ziva! After being unsatisfied with my previous haircuts, I took the recommendation of a coworker and saw Paulino at Ziva. Brett Rocks!! – I have the world's most impossible thick, curly, frizzy hair and for the first time, Brett gave me a haircut that looks good beyond just the first day I leave the salon. He took the time to show me how to do my hair so that I could do it on my own. The cut was great, the products were great, the staff was great! The best part of all was Brett got geniunly excited about my haircut as he was finshing it. That made me feel great!! Thanks so much!!!
My ALL TIME favorite stylist has to be Brett from Ziva Salon. He instantly understood what I wanted for a new look, and teamed it with examples of pictures I brought in to create a hairstyle that worked for me. There was no awkward silence when he was cutting my hair... we joked about kids as he went on and on about his young son Kai. He was entertaining and sweet, and turned out to be the stylist of my friend and that friend's mother. Brett is a rare mind in a world of GreatClips and over-priced under-trained wannabes.

The best in Portland! – I am from back East and have been having an EXTREMELY difficult time finding hairdressers in Portland that know what the HELL they are doing! I left a HORRIFYING experience from "another" salon and went to Ziva (on a recommendation) to get it fixed. These people GET IT! From the front desk customer service to the expertise of the service staff... my challenges were beyond taken care of! Better than that, I was invited to one of their model night events...
