As a bonus she's friendly, sincere, an excellent listener, responsive with good memory. All qualities which are important to me when I am counting on a hair style that is user-friendly, hip, flattering and feels great (which I received each time!). My experience at the salon has been wonderful. All there create an uplifting environment. The finger of Ziva is on the pulse!

Search No Further: Paulino & Co @ Ziva! – New to PDX, my searcg began ... Ziva had a nicely laid out website that allowed me to get more ideas of what to expect. Although all of the stylists that I read about seemed like they would be great, I went with Paulino for my cut. I was not disappointed! He did a superb job. Go see PAULINO at ZIVA! – I've been to several salons in the NW district which claim to be the "top" but they didn't compare to Ziva. I was making a major hair change (bangs!) and wanted the best, so I called Paulino and was totally impressed. He spent time listening to what I wanted and making suggestions which were realistic AND stylish. He spent the entire time working only with me, giving my hair his full attention, unlike some other salons where the stylist is mulit-tasking to fit in as many people as possible. Hands down, the BEST in Portland! – Here I am, an L.A. transplant, who doesn't know a soul in Portland. Heartbroken over leaving my genius of a hairdresser, which is the only thing worth missing; I tried a few of the "Top" salons. They both left me depressed. And then, there was Ziva...and Molly. Skeptical, I just rolled in w/out an appointment. Molly took me in, listened intentively(on par w/ a pychologist!), corrected my hair color to perfection, and gave me everything I asked for. Ziva & Paulino are great! – I am balding and graying and dont like it. So, I tried many salons trying to get a haircut with some style and not one came through and I was disillusioned.. Thank goodness my wife talked me into going to see Paulino at Ziva. He is absolutely the best hairdresser I've ever met. He really knows his stuff, both cut and products, and he's a great guy too. 2 great haircuts – I'm a 55 year old man and I came to see Alder with a foot and a half pony tail and a picture. He did exactly what I wanted, and when it didn't work out he did it over the way he thought it should be. He brought my hair into the 21st century. It's easy to care for and always looks good. My wife loves it and plans to see Alder herself.
Thank You, Alder – Before I came to Ziva I had to wear my hair up everyday because it was too dry and damaged to wear down. I had no idea what to do with my hair. Alder saved me! My hair is now well cut, healthy, and I can always wear it down. I always leave Ziva happy. Thank you, Alder.
