Dr. Paul Marks is an excellent surgeon. It has been 8 months since my surgery and my shoulder is 90% better. I started to play tennis again with more power, no more pain, and anti-inflammatory medications. I highly recommend his expertise, knowledge, and great staff. Thank you!
Dr. Marks is the best. I've had one ACL done in 2006 by another doctor, and the other ACL in 2010 by Dr. Marks. After the 1st one was done I thought it went ok, but after having Dr. Marks do the other knee there is no comparison. Dr. Marks was just better. He explained what was the best option was for me and the whole experiece was just better than the 1st one. I was walking without cruches in 2 week, and was ready to play bball in 4 months. They actually had to hold me back just to be safe. Dr. Marks is the best.
Dr. Marks is the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else. And his anaethesiologist is amazing too. I had a graft ACL replacement and cleaning up of meniscus. Walking almost normally after only a week. Don't let anyone else do your knees. It's a bit of wait to see him, but WELL worth it.
Dr Marks and his team gave me my life back. His work on my knee eliminate the pain I experienced from my ACL injury and has allowed me to enjoy an active life with my family. His bedside manner is very familiar and while he may have kept me waiting for some appointments, always took time to get to know me and share his personal experiences with me as well. He is clearly an incredibly skilled and masterful surgeon.
Dr. Marks made my upcoming retirement something to look forward to. He did a wonderful job fixing my knee, so now I can play tennis and ski again! He was very knowledgable, was a pleasure to deal with, and returned calls promptly.
Dr. Paul Marks is absolutely wonderful. He did an ACL reconstruction surgery (hamstring autograft) on me in October 2010. I am really thankful to him and his team for their excellent work, friendliness, and top quality care. I waited more than a year to see him and had to wait another six months before I had the surgery but it was CERTAINLY worth it. God bless people like Dr. Marks.
Dr. Marks is Head of the Dept. He knows his craft! My meniscus was torn in 2 places - albeit the most common surgery - with Dr. Marks, very little pain and quick healing. His work is precise, he is skilled and his team substantiates this. I was completely confident going into my knee repair and even happier with the outcome. Physio were impressed with how well my knee was so soon after surgery. I look forward to pulling my wee daughter in her wagon this summer. A truly gifted man. Thank you and keep up the voice ;-).
I was made aware of Dr. Marks by a medical colleague who is aware of his reputation as one of the best in the city for knee arthroscopy. I found Dr. Marks to be very personable and professional, and can say the same of his team (fellow and residents). Two months post-op and I am 90% healed after meniscus repair to Left knee and definately feel an improvement in my knee function. I've had two arthroscopy knee surgeries by Dr. Marks -- one knee in 2001 and the other knee about 10 days ago. I've had no problems with the one 10 years ago and I'm amazed how well the recent one is doing. I was able to ride an exercise bike for 20 minutes within a few days and now it feels almost normal. Dr. Marks also operated on both of my kids -- one with a shoulder injury and the other with a serious ACL knee injury.
