I love food. I love good food. I've eaten a lot of good food. This is the best food I've ever eaten. Need I say more? Oh, the service was par excellence!
It's not only that the food is great—tasty, surprising, attractively presented—it's that the service is inevitably courteous, attentive and friendly. Meaning someone manages that. Is it any wonder it's so hard to get reservation? Ours was for 9, and we were seated in one of those cubby hole booths off to the side, enabling a fun conversation full of people's stories.
Ordered the tasting menu with a co-worker and was blown away. Chef Solomonov has a gift of making simple dishes explode with flavor. Besides the 15 items we tried, he sent out a watermelon salad that was outstanding. But the coup de grace was when a couple a few barstools down were celebrating their anniversary and Chef Solomonov poured champagne for all so the entire restaurant could celebrate with them. Well done, sir.
