It is worth any wait you may endure. The food is amazing. The cocktails are amazing. It is easily one of the best meals I've ever had. Chris was absolutely perfect behind the bar. I can't recommend this place enough.
There's a two-month wait at this Israeli restaurant. Or you can get in line an hour before it opens for a few seats at the bar. They treat everyone like a VIP. The chef sent us fried cauliflower on the house. With names such as Based on a True Story & Summer in Society Hill, the cocktails were delicately superb. We also tried the fresh hummus and laffa bread. The runner filling our water glasses spoke to us in Spanish - proud to tell us he's from near Puebla, Mexico. Not only is the food incredible but also no superlatives are enough to describe the customer service. On a recent visit without my saying a word, our server brought menus for everyone then hands me a different special menu & says, "We understand you are allergic to shellfish & cilantro." I was blown away. Evidently, they recorded this info on my previous visit.
I was there last night for a birthday celebration and it was really excellent from start to finish. Menus on our table were personalized with a birthday wish for our girl Lynn. We chose the prix fixe menu and every selection was enjoyed by all and the evening was topped off by amazing desserts.
Awesome! Truly enjoyed everything!!!! Will visit again very soon����
