Just WOW!!! The Israeli in me is dancing inside right now :).
From the beginning services was great and the food is delicious
Superb service, delectable small plates paired with an unusual Chilean white. The hummus was the star, but everything was stellar.
I dined here a few years ago for a work dinner. Delicious food and good atmosphere. I often think about making a day trip from NYC to eat there again.
Best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. Hands down. Service was impeccable and our entire dinner party had a night to remember. We were celebrating a special. Occasion and they made it remarkably memorable. Worth every penny.
There is nothing like a night at Zahav. Period. The food explodes (in a good way) in your mouth. The cocktails are super cool and delicious, not forced or weird. The wait staff is as glad that you are there as you should be. Warm setting but not at all intrusive. It is the food that will mesmerize you, and make you want to go again and again and again.
Just had a fabulous dinner at one of the Top Restaurants - Chef Michael Solomonov's Israeli/Middle Eastern "Zahav" in Philadelphia with friend Rindy Lasus who came in from SF. Can't describe all that we had but the Tasting Menu with a $8 upcharge for the Lamb Shoulder was the way to go AND it included Dessert. We let the server choose the platings. He has a documentary "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" for those who may have seen it. Tough Reservation to get ... waited months for it.
Zahav has a 4.6 star rating with 3,821 reviews.
Zahav is closed now. It will open at 5:00 p.m.
