My mother is her patient. I know my mothers health problems than this so called doctor. Its appalling how little she does for patients. Insomnia runs in my family, BAD. This "doctor" prescribed trazodone 50mg and told her to take half. My mother has taken it before and I do still take it as well. It takes 150mg to fall and stay asleep for me and when my mother took it it was 150mg as well. How does 25mg help with serious insomnia? It doesn't and this doctor doesn't give two cares. Very professional and thorough inconsiderate of the patient
Dr. Thomas is fine if you are under 50 yrs old and don't have serious health issues. She is sweet, kind and soft spoken, but she seriously screwed up my 88 yr old mother's crisis with a UTI. We are changing doctors. We should have switched my mom to an internist before her health went south, but it happened so fast. If you have serious health issues, pick a different doctor. Her nurse, Oliva, is wonderful. The rest of the staff is very nice too. No complaints there
Too busy typing to listen! Barely does an exam!!! Overall not impressed! Started going to her when my Doctor left to start teaching!!
Went to her 2 years. Did not listen w/o interrupting, said i was doing wrong because of my weight. Said exercise 3 times a week 30 min each time. Listening to my heart barely took 3 seconds. Touched 4 times on my chest. 3seconds! I went to another doc, 1st appt, she had me rushed to ER, worried I was having heart attack. I have flutter of heart. Had for yrs, Thomas never caught this. Ever. If I had done what she said i'd be dead. Stay away. Far away. Only in it for the money it seems.
She is a most caring Doctor, listens and takes the necessary time.
Dr. Thomas comes across as nice and caring but she really isn't. I had been going to her for almost 4 years and she still couldn't pronounce my name right. When I would ask questions about my health conditions she would never really acknowledge them and then would proceed to ask me unrelated questions. She almost killed one of my family members by prescribing heart medication she didn't need and not paying attention to medicine combinations. I would never recommend anyone to her.
I find none of the criticisms that are made about her coincide with my personal encounters with her. She listens to me when I speak and has a pleasant personality. I feel she is more than competent as my primary care physician. I do think at times she is rushed but I attribute that to the pressure the system places on physicians to build up a large panel of patients. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
