I was only needing a doctors note for my job so that I may be allowed to wear comfortable shoes at work. I have already had surgery to remove a bunion and re-align my bones in one foot. My other foot has a bunion growth and without supportive shoes I am in so much pain. She would not provide a note unless I had an X-ray done and implied that she still may not do it because I need to see a specialist. I was looking for a new primary care physician, so saw her once for a check-up, she was fine…not spectacular but OK. I went for a a routine mammogram and had my results sent to her. They ended up being abnormal, and she was not timely at all in getting an order put in for follow up tests. She also didn’t even communicate with me directly, she dropped her comments in my chart (or whatever they use at St. John’s). So impersonal, would expect a little more compassion. She seems very concerned about my health and she explained to me the things I need to do for my health. It was my first visit with her and I really liked what she said to me. I will keep her for my doctor
Dr Thomas is great. She always takes the time to go all over all my health issues and keeps an eye on all my lab work. Also her nurse Brittany is great to work with and schedule your appointment. Terry up front is always pleasant to deal with.
Very caring, and thoughtful. Listens to me.
Dr. Thomas has been significantly late ever time I have seen her, then stays in the room for maybe 2-3 min max. She does not actually listen to my concerns, and when her PA (who is awesome) calls me with results, she reads things that Dr. Thomas has in my file that are directly contradicting what I told her my concerns were. She has cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars with referrals and tests only to gaslight me afterwards. I would give her 0 stars if possible, and I wouldn't recommend seeing her.
I was having problems with breathing. Dr Thomas accessed my symptoms. A negative result for COVID was determined after swaps tested. I was given prescribed breathing meds and inhaler. Thank you Dr Thomas I am on the way to better!!! ????????????
