Driving on the A9 when a convoy of 6 or 7 grit loaded trucks came trundling down the snow coated overtaking lane. Two of the trucks lacked any form of mudguards throwing plumes of snow, ice and grit into the air and completely blinding cars they were overtaking, causing drivers to brake in already treacherous conditions. All images and videos will be passed onto the police.

Never have I seen a HGV being operated in this manner before. I followed an eight-wheel, loaded aggregate lorry today from Inverinate to Spean Bridge. The driver caught the ditch twice and spewed mud all over the road, almost losing control of his vehicle. He was also driving on the wrong side of the carriageway, cutting corners and causing oncoming drivers to veer off the road, onto the grass, to avoid him. Having read these reviews I wish to add mine as a cautionary warning to all. My younger brother was killed by a driver employed by Yuill and Dodds at that time in a Fatal Road Traffic Accident. My brother was a totally innocent victim going about his daily life oblivious of what lay ahead... He had no way of knowing that this was his last day on earth. Due to an incompetent English Police Investigation the driver, only ever, 'cautioned' under Death Through Dangerous Driving, was released with no charges. He literally walked ... read more
