Joe and his sons, Joe Jnr and Rob were perfect gents. They carried out their work efficiently and with minimum disruption. I was pleased with the job they did and the floor looks much better.
I would highly recommend Cooney & Sons to anyone looking to introduce hard wood floor to their home. Joe’s knowledge of wooden flooring is second to none and he gave us a huge amount of advice on the best solution for our new build home, in the months leading up to our move. I highly recommend York Wood Flooring by Cooney & Sons. Joseph and team are so lovely to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. The work was also reasonably priced. They restored our teak parquet flooring in the hallway, sourced suitable wood to replace some broken/missing bits, and worked with us to make sure it looked exactly as we wanted. 100 out of 5 stars!
Some years ago Joe Cooney laid several beautiful solid oak floors in our home, including one in our kitchen. Recently we suffered a flood in that kitchen which ruined the said floor. Joe has returned and laid a lovely new engineered wood replacement. As usual, the workmanship was impeccable and he was a joy to have back in our house. Joe Rob and Joe have done an excellent job of restoring our two parquet floors, in the kitchen and living room. They have worked in a professional and cheerful manner, with skill, efficiency, tidiness and resourcefulness, and completed the job in two days. Our 75 year old floors now look brand new and have transformed our home. I would recommend them to anyone looking to restore their wood floors! Thanks to Joe and his team.
