It was my first visit here. It was a great experience. The food was good, warm not hot though. The pancakes and banana nut bread could've been cooked a little longer. The pancakes flavor was great but tasted a little moist \doughy. I will visit again.
Why is there no sounds/music at all?
Very clean, staff is nice and attentive. Food was decent but expensive for what it is. French toast is very sweet along with the syrup. A little too sweet for my taste. Bacon was great. Sausage ok. Eggs ok. Overall nice place
Did the owners change or something? It seems like the food quality fell off a cliff since the last time I was here a few months ago. Prepackaged butter instead of whipped, grated potatoes instead of cut in the hash, etc. Real bummer. Yolk used to be our go-to treat brunch.
We stopped here for a quick breakfast before heading home. I'd been to other Yolk locations in Chicago, and this one did not disappoint. We were quickly seated, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our meals were prepared quickly, had good flavor, and the portions were giant. Pricing was reasonable, which was a bonus. Overall, it's a good restaurant!
