The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

We visited while on vacation, went back the next day for more! The daily specials each day were delicious. It is literally like your grandma is cooking in the kitchen. You can even watch in amazement as they fix your meal! Beautiful, God-loving people! Highly recommended!!
Worth the stop in Birmingham! Delicious comfort food! Best shrimp & grits and the chicken wings were large, crisp and not greasy. Fresh fries that actually tasted like potatoes!

I was here visiting from Michigan. The food was awesome. I had the shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles. 😋😋
never disappoints.... I had the wing plate with fries and broccoli. The wings were hot, fresh and seasoned to perfection. My partner had the "Meal of the Day" which was two big pieces of catfish with jambalaya and 5 hushpuppies. The portions were plentiful and very tasty.
