The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

My husband and I had the shrimp plate. Lord have mercy those shrimp were so big and seasoned just right! My husband also had some cocktail and tarter sauce and I tried his and omg so good! He had cheese grits and yams and I had yams and fries. The sides were just as good as the shrimp! Will definitely be one of my to go spots whenever I'm back in Birmingham which is often!! Good job on the quality of your food. It's worth every penny!

I had the chicken and waffles here. The chicken here is fried beautifully and the house syrup is so delicious.

Had dinner from curbside pick-up. I always get double meat everywhere I go, but the patty melt was unbelievable!!! Wife had a slap yo mama burger and it was Hugh also. Great fries as well. Puts chain restaurants to shame. Will definitely be going back for more. Way to go. Hope for your continued success!
