Ye Rustic Inn is a bar that perfectly serves the hip Los Feliz area. This casual two-room watering hole is a comfortable spot that's welcoming to both the aging regulars and the on-their-way-to-Hollywood younger crowd. The main room has a long, beaten-up bar filled with the kind of extras you only see in an Oliver Stone film. The back room offers booths for a more private night out. You can't build this kind of place—it has to age like fine wine.

The Rowdy Rustic – I've enjoyed a good drink or two at this place. Good service, good drinks, surprisingly good and affordable food. Small front bar makes for tight spacing and few seats. I enjoy the fact that its right next to a discount record shop. The neighborhood is not the greatest but parking is ample. Sometimes the people can get a bit rowdy. Overall - not a bad hole-in-the-wall place. Rustic is OK but I can't add it to my top 10 list.
SUCH GOOD FOOD – The wait staff is hit and miss. But the bartenders are GREAT. And the food is incredible. I don't know how they do it in that little kitchen. BUT AMAZING food. Get the Myrtle Burger.
Bar food: IN L.A! – Go to the Rustic during the day and get your, "hair of the dog" on. Order ten hot-wings and a pitcher of beer for 20 bucks. Great place to catch, "the game" and drunken sports fans of teams around the world, (without the JOCK mentality). It's nice and dark in there ... spend the afternoon and be shocked to walk out into the sunlight. One of the best in the city ... especially if you miss the great greaaazzzy bar food of the midwest.
This watering hole serves up strong drinks and hearty food to grips, gaffers, and innocent bystanders. – The Regulars Locals, new kids on the block, and crewmembers from the ABC studios down the street. Things get loud and animated when the televisions, music and games all blast along with the usual drunk chatter and hijinks. The Draw If they're not coming for the cute bartender, the dusty bottles on the shelf or the red vinyl booths in the rear, then it must be the food and drink served late into night. Hearty grinders, gre... read more
young alcoholics bonanza – The cross section of East side drinkers is phenomenal. Bikers, jocks, struggling writers and professional bar flys. Unfortunately, by the time YOU arrive, THEY have already been soaking in booze for several hours. Everyone does that "loud talking" thing that you see after about 5 beers. Most everyone is so far gone that you feel like you're catching up all night... The place is lit like a casino, so you can drink like it's midnight when it's only 3:00 in the afternoon. The Rustic is a lot like a ra... read more
Just like the dive bars at home! – The wonderful Rustic Inn, a falling apart, old school but oh-so comfortable home away from home. Always seems to be busy starting around 3PM. You will find everything from slumming local artists, muscians and actors to your neigborhood drunks. If you are from the east coast or midwest and grew up in dive bars, this is the place for you. Also has the best and most affordable bar food in town. The bartenders tend to have a IQ hovering around 80, but after a few yummy bloody Marys, you really ... read more
